Her practice is deeply rooted in cultural sensitivity and community diversity, where she excels in client-centred and strength-based approaches. Mercy also incorporates the Two-Eyed Seeing Approach, effectively blending Western and Indigenous worldviews to address mental health challenges(Elder Albert Marshall,2004). Mercy’s problem-solving acumen within organizational frameworks is well-documented, and her expertise spans the comprehensive assessment, development, and evaluation of social service programs, with a consistent focus on results-driven outcomes.

Her notable achievements include significantly enhancing individuals’ lives and developing innovative programs that address pressing community needs.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Mercy remains actively engaged in volunteer work. She holds prominent roles as an Executive Member of the Kenya Association of Manitoba and a Regional Representative for Black Mental Health Canada. In her personal life, she finds joy in simple pleasures such as tending to animals on her small farm, staying active, and spending quality time with family and friends.
